With our corporate headquarters in Columbia, MO, we serve locations across Missouri, including Columbia, Jefferson City, Sedalia, Warrensburg, Rolla, Warrenton, Troy, O’Fallon and many other cities across the state.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new sales opportunities through various prospecting methods, including phone calls, email campaigns, canvasing, networking, etc.
- Track sales activities, opportunities, and sales in provided CRM program (Salesforce.com).
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions. Product focus will be on fiber solutions, including Broadband/Dedicated Internet, SIP Voice Services and Cloud Based Phone Systems.
- Use tools provided to create contracts, quotes, and sample invoices in a timely fashion.
- Participate in weekly scheduled sales calls, sales meetings, and all sales training sessions.
- Serve as the on-going point of contact for accounts after the initial sale to ensure continued customer satisfaction and growth of the account base.
- Regular follow-up with clients to add solutions, update information and resolve any issues.
- Participate in customer facing events like Lunch & Learns, trade shows, and expo booths as required.

**Compensation is base pay plus commissions**
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of prior B2B sales experience.
- Strong prospecting and communications skills are a must.
- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e. a “people person").
- Possess excellent sales skills, a positive/professional attitude, and a strong desire to succeed.
- Associate's Degree and/or equivalent work experience in the Telecom/Internet/Data field.
- Ability to multi-task, be self-motivated and work in a sales team environment.
- Highly disciplined, independent, and organized.
- Prior experience in telecom/data sales a plus.
- Requires consistent prospecting/sales to potential B2B clients for monthly quota retirement.
