Sales Administrative Assistant

SUMMARY:


The Sales Administrative Assistant will work with the Director of Sales and the Sales Team members to provide support for their administrative and sales needs.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Experience managing and maintaining CRM databases (ex. Salesforce)
  • Create and maintain a variety of reports utilizing the CRM tool and other databases for the Director of Sales used in the management of the Sales Team
  • Experience in supporting Business to Business Sales teams
  • Develop intimate understanding of the sales quote/contract/order processes in order to assist Sales Team when necessary, including creating contracts, placing orders for add-ons items and following order status
  • Work directly with business customers on contractual, order or invoice questions and assist with getting missing paperwork or signatures
  • Work with the Business Account Coordinators to resolve order and billing issues
  • Compile Customer Billing Audits and Long-Distance Audits as requested
  • Assist with sales presentation materials
  • Assist with customer facing events like Lunch & Learns, trade shows and expos booths as required
  • Assist the Director of Sales with Agent quotes, contracts, orders and billing issues
  • Assist the Director of Sales with the recruiting and interviewing process for new sales candidates; help maintain job postings, manage resumes, schedule interviews and send assessments as needed
  • Assist with onboarding and training new hires


Requirements


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of two years job-related experience in Business Sales support or Business Sales operations is required.
  • Experience managing and maintaining CRM databases (ex. Salesforce) is essential
  • Experience supporting a Business-to-Business Sales Team is essential
