Summary of Job (brief description)
The Vice President, Information Technology (VP, IT) is a strategic and operational leader responsible for developing and executing the organization's technology vision and roadmap. This executive will oversee IT infrastructure, security, enterprise systems, data management, and digital transformation initiatives to ensure technology supports business growth, innovation, and operational excellence. The VP, IT will lead a high-performing team and partner closely with other business functions to ensure alignment between IT capabilities and enterprise goals.
Responsibilities
- Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Provide strategic direction and thought leadership on emerging technologies and digital trends.
- Build and mentor a strong IT leadership team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Enterprise Systems & Infrastructure
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and reliable IT systems and networks.
- Evaluate and optimize enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS) to improve business processes and reporting.
- Ensure system performance, availability, and scalability to support organizational needs.

- Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Develop and manage a robust cybersecurity program, including policies, incident response, and employee training.

- Partner with Legal and Compliance to assess and mitigate technology-related risks.
- Data Management & Analytics
- Lead the development of a data governance framework and enterprise data strategy.
- Ensure the integrity, availability, and security of organizational data.
- Enable data-driven decision-making through scalable analytics platforms and tools.
- Vendor & Budget Management
- Oversee IT vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and department heads, providing technology insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-wide IT transformation and systems implementations.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, and application development.

Salary Range: $310,000 - $335,000 annually
