Summary of Job (brief description)

The Manager/Senior Manager, Field Operations role at Soleno requires a passionate, analytical, and collaborative individual focused on building and overseeing the programs and initiatives that support patient access for our product(s). This role will provide both strategic and tactical oversight in the development, implementation, and management of field operations in alignment with market needs and the patients we serve. This role will build highly collaborative working relationships with the broader Commercial Operations, Analytics, and Field Teams. Externally, this role will work with various Tech, data and operations partners to successfully lead the operations plan execution. This role will report directly to the Associate Director, Commercial Operations.


Responsibilities

  • Champion translation of commercial strategy into field-ready execution through processes, tools, and governance. Actively track progress, risks, and dependencies, stepping in to unblock issues and keep work moving forward
  • Support new hire onboarding processes, including field tools access, ensuring a seamless experience and readiness for field execution
  • Be the point of contact for any field meeting resource coordination between HQ and Field teams
  • Be the coordination point for field intelligence gathering
  • Help streamline and own Roster Management across field roles and ensure all downstream applications in sync; coordinate with HR, Operations leads, and other stakeholders as needed
  • Help manage alignment operations, ad-hoc reporting, and IC operations (field rollout of plan, answering questions specific to a geography, create and communicate attainment reports towards the goal)
  • Help lead planning and execution of key field events, ensuring alignment, engagements and operational excellence
  • Support management of field ops systems, tools and processes (CRM/PRM, Dashboards, LMS/Allego, Credentialing etc.) – backlog management, release planning and communication, coordination across stakeholders, and expectations management
  • Support developing training materials/guides for field tool, provide training on field tools/sessions (train-the-trainer or end users, depending on the needs)
  • Support change management efforts for new processes, tools, and rollouts, ensuring adoption, communication, and alignment across cross-functional partners and leadership stakeholders
  • Support the development and maintenance of SOPs and operational documentation
  • Provide insights and metrics on field operations
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and alignment across sales, operations, and analytics systems
  • Lead all field operations vendor relationships that provide services and programs on behalf of Soleno
  • Drive field adoption, data quality, and continuous improvement of tools and workflows
  • Ensure internal and external policy compliance as it relates to Commercial operations, programs, and materials
  • Drive Operations Support framework, including SOPs, Data Dictionaries & Process Blueprints. Consistently execute multiple projects in an on-time and on-budget manner
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree and 7-9+ years of increasing experience in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry with focus in field or sales operations, commercial operations or related roles in life sciences
  • Experience supporting commercial field teams
  • Strong understanding of field operations – commercial field roles, alignments, roster, targeting, sales crediting / IC, goal setting etc.
  • Hands on experience with field tools – CRM / PRM (Veeva Vault, Salesforce), Dashboards (PowerBI), Training / LMS (Allego), Credentialing etc.
  • Experience working with pharma data (primary, secondary and 3rd party), SQL, Excel and BI (business intelligence) tools
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up environment and prepared to assume roles and responsibilities outside of traditional job functions
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

Salary Range: $140,000 - $185,000

(Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as the location where this position may be filled.)
