Position Summary


The Vice President of Operations is a key leadership position within Solidaritus Health, holding responsibility for the oversight and optimization of the organization's operational facets. Collaborating closely with the CEO and the executive team, the Vice President of Operations leads the execution of the company's strategic vision through enhanced operational efficiency, standardized procedures, and the development of a sustainable approach to Solidaritus' healthcare model.


Required Responsibilities


Operational Leadership

  • Provide tactical leadership in all operational functions, including clinic operations, customer service, human resource management, and IT.
  • Foster and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders and customers.
  • Translate strategic priorities into sustainable, scalable, and high-quality practices that underpin Solidaritus' mission.


Process Improvement

  • Conduct ongoing assessments and improvements to operational processes to enhance efficiency, elevate the quality of care, and bolster patient satisfaction.
  • Provide periodic updates to the CEO and the executive team on organizational performance, including strategies and plans for continuous enhancement.


Quality Assurance

  • Support the CMO in the development of clinic operation quality assurance programs and initiatives to maintain and improve the highest standards of patient care and satisfaction.
  • Oversee ongoing implementation and monitoring of the programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure that Solidaritus complies with all relevant healthcare regulations and maintains the highest ethical standards.


Information Technology

  • Manage information technology to support patient access to care and enhance clinical outcomes.
  • Coordinate the deployment of hardware and software; ensure staff access to appropriate software, hardware, and network services.
  • Inform the CEO and executive leadership team about network security risks and proposed plans to ameliorate the risks.


Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee Human Resource functions in support of an engaged, high-performing workforce.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work that meets or exceeds performance indicators.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, with a strong background in primary care
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
  • A commitment to continuously improve the health and wellness of each eligible member
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and healthcare software systems.
  • A spirit of collaboration and cooperation with a willingness to continually learn

In California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington, the standard base pay range for this remote role is $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually, dependent on qualifications. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations, based on state and local laws.
