The Opportunity:
As a VP at Sourcechange, you will lead the full headhunting lifecycle and be responsible for managing relationships and developing profit streams for one of our specialized search practices.
You will be responsible for identifying and engaging new clients and candidates, executing search mandates and methodologies, building relationships with industry leaders, and contributing to our mission of transforming the talent acquisition industry. Your efforts will directly impact Sourcechange’s success by expanding our client base and reinforcing our community-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate Acquisition: Attract and engage passive candidates in a specific market segment, execute talent acquisition strategies
- Client Origination: Develop new business and nurture existing clients, orchestrate client portfolio construction, and execute client acquisition strategies
- Search Execution: Practice optimal search execution methodologies
- Deal Execution: Originate, structure, and negotiate complex deals
- Founder Collaboration: Work closely with Sourcechange’s founders and advisors, gaining unique insights and guidance to refine sales strategies and approaches.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with prominent industry figures leveraging these connections to enhance Sourcechange’s network and market presence.
- Leadership: Mentor and lead peers, and be responsible for the performance, training and development of direct reports
Qualifications
- 5 years + of experience with an exceptional track record in an executive search or a contingent recruiting environment.
- Market expertise in a specific Clean Energy / Tech Finance, Energy Infrastructure Finance, or Sustainable Finance market segments
- Familiarity with market strategy and segmentation methods
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals and organizations.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation platforms to efficiently manage sales activities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
