You’ll join a cross-functional team dedicated to building better experiences for our global user base—one test case at a time.

As our new Senior QA Automation Engineer, you'll be the quality advocate our team relies on. You'll design and implement robust test automation frameworks, work closely with developers and product managers, and make sure our platforms run smoothly for every user, globally. 

We prefer candidates to be based in Berlin, as we encourage everyone to join us in the office at least two days a week to foster collaboration and team spirit.

What You'll Be Up To

• Develop Automated Tests: Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
• Maximize Test Coverage: Ensure maximum test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
• Prioritize Test Scenarios: Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
• Document Processes: Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
• Build Test Frameworks: Develop and enhance test automation frameworks to accommodate scripting needs.
• Log Bugs: Log and document bugs in the tracking system, providing detailed reports to the engineering team.
• Continuous Integration: Set up and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) systems.
• Exploratory Testing: Conduct exploratory testing to understand how functionality manifests to the customer when necessary.

Who You Are & What You'll Bring

• Experienced Automator: 2-3+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong background in e-commerce applications.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in programming skills to write code and scripts in languages such as JavaScript and Python.
• Analytical Thinker: Strong analytical skills to examine bug reports, prioritize tests, and streamline functions through automation.
• Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail to test web and mobile applications effectively.
• Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with the engineering team and create comprehensive testing plans and reports.
• Agile Experience: Experience with Agile methodology is preferred.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Comfortable working with offshore, nearshore, and onshore models is a plus.
