We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join our fast-paced finance & accounting team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you’ll play a key role in full-cycle accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional eager to grow in a dynamic company environment.

This role is a full-time remote position that must be located in the United States (preferably EST).  

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and assist in the month-end close process.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, payroll, and various other areas.
• Support monthly variance analyses by compiling detailed supporting documentation.
• Assist with audits and respond to information requests.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.
• Collaborate on optimizing and enhancing the company’s use of Workday ERP to improve efficiency and streamline accounting processes.
• Collaborate on special projects and ad hoc requests from management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA a plus.
• 2-3 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Workday ERP is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Outstanding communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• A self-starter attitude with a passion for learning and professional growth.
