What You'll Be Up To

• Build and Evolve:  Design new features and improve existing systems using modern agile practices like Kanban, Scrum, XP, TDD, and Pair Programming.
• Keep Things Running Smoothly: In our DevOps culture, you’ll help ensure our backend systems are fast, stable, and ready for scale.
• Learn, Experiment, Repeat: We’re all about continuous learning and growth. Bring your ideas, try new things, and help us evolve—one iteration at a time.
• Team Up for Feature Work: Collaborate with product managers and other Spark teams to bring new features to life and create value for our users.
• Performance First: Monitor and optimize system performance to keep things running efficiently and reliably.

What You'll Bring

• 6+ years of experience developing large-scale production applications in Java
• Experience with service-oriented architecture
• Familiarity with AWS and PostgreSQL
• Bonus points for experience with Cloudflare, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, SonarQube, and Gitlab
