A Day in the Life:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a global, distributed team of Data Scientists/Machine Learning Engineers.
  • Work closely with company executives to influence and steer the strategic direction of the company's AI initiatives, with a particular focus on generative AI.
  • Drive the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge generative models and AI solutions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and improvement within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and guide the team to provide data-driven solutions.
  • Effectively communicate complex quantitative analyses and AI strategies to executive stakeholders and non-technical team members.

What it takes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in leading, managing, and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, and particularly Generative AI.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiar with libraries like Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch etc.
  • Knowledge of SQL or similar database management systems.
  • Experience with tools like Plantir and C3
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, navigating complex decisions and driving impactful outcomes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience and influence top-tier executives.

Location Requirements:

  • Must be located in (or willing to relocate to) Atlanta, with the ability to work in Carrollton and work in the office on a semi-regular basis
