A Day in the Life:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize C++ applications that simulate package flow efficiency within the NPOP SIM system
• Work on a mix of new feature development, minor tweaks, and data field additions
• Develop and maintain APIs for integrating with other NPOP services
• Utilize Linux environments for development, debugging, and performance tuning
• Contribute to Java-based applications to support overall team efficiency
• Engage in troubleshooting and debugging, ensuring high-performance and reliable system functionality
• Work within OpenShift/Kubernetes environments to support containerized deployment and scaling
• Gain exposure to ActiveMQ and Ignite database technologies as part of the system's architecture
• Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement
