A Day in the Life:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all automation initiatives, managing both development and platform operations within the RPA ecosystem.
- Administer and optimize the UiPath Cloud Platform, ensuring stable, secure, and compliant performance across environments.
- Lead and mentor a small vendor team, providing technical guidance, code review, and support on complex automations.
- Collaborate with business partners to assess automation opportunities, gather requirements, and refine user stories for development.
- Manage the RPA project backlog—define scope, estimate effort, create sprint tasks, and track delivery in an agile workflow.
- Design, build, test, and deploy high-quality automations using UiPath, with occasional use of Power Automate for complementary workflows.
- Prepare and present weekly updates highlighting progress, pipeline health, risks, and next-step recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to RPA best practices, governance policies, coding standards, and documentation requirements.
What it takes:
- Proven experience (5+ years) developing end-to-end automations using UiPath, including strong platform administration skills.
- Ability to lead and guide small technical teams or vendor partners while maintaining high development standards.
- Expertise in RPA lifecycle management—from process assessment and design to testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
- Strong understanding of agile delivery practices, backlog management, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Solid familiarity with tools like GitLab, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms for source control and work management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
- Experience developing documentation, dashboards, and reporting materials that support transparency and decision-making.
- A continuous-improvement mindset with the ability to identify automation opportunities and champion adoption across the organization.
