A Day in the Life:

  • Independently manage multiple project clusters, ensuring all documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with contract requirements.
  • Oversee technical documentation workflows, engaging the right stakeholders and conducting quality reviews to maintain compliance.
  • Support design managers through all project phases—design development, construction handoff, and final delivery—by coordinating drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and calculations.
  • Lead archiving, version control, and project tracking processes, maintaining clear records and naming standards.
  • Deliver training sessions for internal teams and external partners, while providing tactical support for documentation processes.
  • Generate progress reports, dashboards, and KPI updates for leadership visibility.
  • Act as the SME for documentation and process clarifications, providing guidance to colleagues and decision-making support.
  • Drive process improvements and lead end-to-end initiatives—requirements gathering, documentation, approval, testing, rollout, training, and user support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams in a fast-paced environment, raising the bar for quality and coherence in documentation.
  • Serve as Configuration Analyst/System Owner for design documentation systems, managing user accounts, access controls, and security.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with documentation and process standards.
  • Participate in team meetings to communicate updates, risks, and requirements for successful project delivery.

What it takes:

  • Proven success in design, construction, or project management with deep knowledge of project lifecycle sequencing.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk BIM360, Bluebeam, Procore, and other design/construction management platforms.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Skilled in collaborative management systems, document control processes, and office productivity software.
  • Experience with Salesforce, SharePoint, or similar platforms (preferred).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and verify multi-disciplinary drawings and specifications.
  • Demonstrated success leading process improvement initiatives and implementing new workflows or tools.
  • Exceptional communication and technical writing skills for creating and reviewing documentation.
  • Experience working on engineering or data center construction projects (preferred).
  • A proactive leader who can train, guide, and support both internal teams and external partners.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and consistency across all project documentation.
