About the Role:

As a Principal Solutions Consultant specializing in Data Solutions, you will lead strategic client engagements, architect advanced data solutions, and drive technical excellence across data modernization and analytics initiatives. In this lead role, you'll bridge complex business challenges with cutting-edge data platforms, provide thought leadership, and guide teams toward impactful outcomes.

Partnering closely with sales, delivery, and technical teams, you'll identify opportunities, design scalable, data-driven solutions, and empower clients in their digital transformation journeys using modern data technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Architect scalable data solutions using modern platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Fivetran, dbt, Sigma, Matillion, Coalesce, AWS).
• Provide strategic and technical guidance on data modernization, analytics, AI/ML integration, holistic architecture, and human-centered visualization.
• Stay current on emerging data trends, fostering innovation through continuous learning and mentoring.

2. Strategic Pre-Sales & Client Engagement

• Collaborate with sales to qualify opportunities, refine client strategies, and deliver impactful technical presentations and proposals.
• Develop executive-level client relationships, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic data initiatives.

3. Thought Leadership & Market Positioning

• Publish thought-leading content (whitepapers, case studies, blogs) highlighting expertise in data modernization, analytics, and AI trends.
• Influence market positioning by developing innovative offerings based on industry benchmarks and best practices.

4. Proof of Concept & Technical Validation

• Lead teams in developing compelling PoCs and prototypes to demonstrate value and feasibility.
• Manage vendor evaluations and facilitate knowledge transfer for smooth implementation.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with delivery, engineering, and sales teams to ensure strategic alignment and successful project handoffs.
• Provide senior advisory insights, influencing offerings through direct client feedback.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience (~12 years) in data solution consulting, architecture, analytics engineering, or related fields.
• Proven track record designing and delivering data solutions using modern platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Matillion, dbt, Coalesce, Sigma) and cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep expertise in data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, and analytics frameworks.
• Exceptional communication skills, including authoring technical content and effectively engaging senior executives and diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to align technical solutions with client strategies, operational needs, and financial objectives.
• Willing to travel up to 20% for strategic client engagements, while effectively managing hybrid work environments.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certifications in modern data platforms such as Snowflake SnowPro Core, Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional, Microsoft Fabric, Fivetran, or Matillion.
• AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Data Engineer certifications
