A Day in the Life:

  • Design and develop a Proof of Concept leveraging a headless Tekla Structures environment to generate and manage BIM models programmatically
  • Build and maintain Tekla Structures models that serve as a single source of truth across the project lifecycle
  • Integrate Tekla Structures with external tools and systems using APIs to support interoperability and collaboration
  • Apply Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards, including IFC, to ensure data consistency and model integrity
  • Act as a technical liaison between the Tekla Structures API and downstream applications that consume or contribute to model data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align modeling, fabrication, and data workflows
  • Evaluate and improve data flow between modeling tools and fabrication or operational systems
  • Support innovation initiatives, including exploring future opportunities to apply AI and automation to BIM models
  • Troubleshoot integration challenges and optimize API interactions for reliability and performance
  • Document technical approaches, workflows, and integration patterns to support ongoing development and knowledge sharing
