A Day in the Life:

• Lead the design and development of full-stack solutions using React and React Native on the frontend and Django on the backend
• Architect scalable, secure APIs and backend services, making thoughtful decisions around data flow, performance, and maintainability
• Own complex features end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL schemas and queries to support high-volume, reliable applications
• Deploy and manage containerized applications in Kubernetes, contributing to environment stability and operational excellence
• Review code, provide mentorship, and help set engineering best practices across the team
• Proactively identify technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for system improvement across the stack

What it takes:

• Occasional in-office collaboration as needed to support team alignment and planning
• Strong experience designing and building full-stack applications using React and React Native, with an emphasis on clean architecture, performance, and user experience
• Deep backend development experience with Django, including building RESTful APIs, managing authentication and authorization, and handling complex business logic
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and data integrity best practices
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications in containerized environments, with working knowledge of Kubernetes and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to make thoughtful architectural decisions, balancing scalability, reliability, maintainability, and delivery timelines
• Proven experience owning features end-to-end, from technical design through production support
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across the full stack, including frontend behavior, backend services, and infrastructure-related issues
• Comfort collaborating in cross-functional teams and providing technical leadership through code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship
