Role Overview

The Sales Support Specialist provides day-to-day operational support to the sales team, helping ensure a smooth process from initial customer engagement through project progression. This role serves as a key point of contact for internal sales representatives, assisting with questions, troubleshooting issues, and advancing projects within the company’s workflow. The role requires adaptability, strong communication, and a general understanding of how projects move through a structured pipeline.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time support to sales representatives through chat and internal communication channels
  • Assist with general sales inquiries and help resolve questions related to project status, documentation, or next steps
  • Support the preparation and completion of change orders and other project-related updates
  • Troubleshoot issues alongside sales representatives during in-home appointments or customer interactions
  • Monitor and help manage the flow of projects through the sales and operational pipeline
  • Communicate with internal teams to ensure accurate information and timely updates for the sales team
  • Help maintain organization and consistency within internal systems and processes
  • Maintain a general understanding of the solar pipeline and how projects move through each stage


Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort supporting teams through chat, messaging platforms, or other real-time communication tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with sales processes or operational workflows is helpful
