About This Role

SpartanX is seeking a dependable and motivated Electrical Helper to support our licensed electricians with residential solar installations and electrical projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the electrical or solar industry. You'll work alongside experienced electricians, gain hands-on field experience, and develop the skills needed to advance within a growing organization.

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, enjoys working outdoors, and is eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist licensed electricians with residential solar electrical installations
• Prepare job sites and organize tools, materials, and equipment
• Pull wire, install conduit, and assist with electrical rough-in work
• Help install inverters, disconnects, breakers, and other electrical components
• Support service panel upgrades and electrical modifications
• Assist with troubleshooting and electrical repairs under the supervision of a licensed electrician
• Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Represent SpartanX professionally while interacting with homeowners

Qualifications

• Previous construction, electrical, or solar experience preferred but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working on ladders and rooftops
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Valid driver's license required
• Clean driving record required
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience assisting electricians
• Residential construction experience
• OSHA 10 certification
• Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program
• Previous residential solar experience
