ESC Electrician

Full-Time | Field-Based | Travel Within Assigned Market

Every Install Doesn't Go Exactly as Planned. That's Where You Come In.

At SpartanX, our Electrical Service Center (ESC) supports the field when projects require a higher level of electrical expertise. As an ESC Electrician, you'll be the go-to resource for solving complex installation challenges, troubleshooting electrical issues, and helping ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

This isn't your typical installation role. We're looking for electricians who enjoy diagnosing problems, thinking critically, and finding solutions that keep projects moving.

What You'll Do

Electrical Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues encountered during residential solar installations
• Troubleshoot post-installation service concerns and warranty-related electrical issues
• Perform electrical repairs and corrective work as needed
• Verify all work meets NEC requirements and local electrical codes

Field Support

• Travel throughout your assigned market supporting installation and service teams
• Respond to complex field issues requiring advanced electrical knowledge
• Partner with Install Managers, Service Technicians, and Project Managers to resolve project challenges
• Assist with commissioning and final electrical verification when needed

Quality & Problem Resolution

• Identify recurring installation issues and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure completed work meets SpartanX quality standards
• Document findings and completed repairs accurately
• Help improve installation processes by providing feedback from the field

What We're Looking For

• Current Journeyman or Wireman Electrician license (or equivalent licensing required by your state)
• Residential electrical experience required
• Residential solar experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and installation plans
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to travel throughout your assigned market as needed
