About This Role

The Electrical Helper supports licensed electricians and installation crews with electrical work related to residential solar installations and general electrical tasks. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality installations. The Electrical Helper plays a key role in job site preparation, material handling, and assisting with electrical assemblies under supervision.

Overall Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with the installation of electrical components, conduit, wiring, and equipment under direct supervision
• Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and equipment prior to installation activities
• Pull wire, mount equipment, and support electrical rough-in and finish work as directed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on all job sites
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company policies at all times
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
• Support troubleshooting and corrective work as instructed by licensed electricians or supervisors
• Accurately follow verbal and written instructions, including basic electrical plans or diagrams
• Assist with inspections by ensuring work areas are accessible and compliant
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with homeowners, inspectors, and team members

Qualifications

• Interest in learning the electrical trade and pursuing career advancement
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor
• Basic understanding of hand and power tools, or willingness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders or rooftops when required
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to follow direction
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Previous construction, electrical, or solar experience is a plus but not required
