About the Role

We are seeking an experienced contractor to support a data centre deployment using Extreme Networks Fabric Connect (SPBM).

This is an urgent engagement requiring someone with proven, hands-on experience who can contribute immediately within a live project environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment and configuration of Extreme Fabric Connect (SPBM)
  • Work within a data centre environment across design, implementation, and delivery phases
  • Assist with fabric configuration including I-SIDs and service provisioning
  • Contribute to routing and switching design and implementation
  • Support multi-site fabric connectivity and extension

Required Experience

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Extreme Fabric Connect (SPBM) in production environments
  • Strong working knowledge of VOSS / Fabric Engine
  • Solid background in routing and switching architecture
  • Experience with:
    • I-SIDs and Virtual Service Networks
    • IS-IS control plane
    • Fabric Extend and multi-site fabrics
  • Experience delivering data centre network projects

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks (firewalls and Panorama)
  • Broader enterprise or data centre networking experience
