Stark Carpet in Calhoun GA is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Cut Table Utility team member to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting the cut table operations by assisting table operators, operating the cut table, and driving a lift truck to locate and transport carpet rolls within the warehouse. Hiring/Retention Bonus up to $1,000 within the first year!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate the cut table as instructed.
• Inspect carpet rolls at the cut table for quality and defects.
• Cut damaged pieces out of carpet rolls to ensure product quality.
• Inspect returned carpet and return any undamaged product to inventory.
• Provide backup support to various production tables as needed.
• Locate and transport carpet rolls within the warehouse using a lift truck.
• Move cores and plastic to cut machines.
• Assist Cut Table Operators and Lift Truck Operators as needed.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned to support production needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to operate a lift truck (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect materials for quality.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport carpet rolls safely.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
