About the role
The Talent & Culture Representative (TCR) role is the main point of contact between the staff and the studio. We are advocates, mentors, and confidants as well as representatives of the studio’s philosophy and policies. We embody the philosophy by collaborating with the Heads of the Departments to provide support and guidance in pursuit of the career and personal development of the staff member. Our role also provides support in building company infrastructures that foster and maintain those relationships, including prioritizing the well-being of the staff and their career path, and providing training curriculums that fit the needs of the studio and their teams. (This role is currently hybrid- that may change in the future but initially we are looking for a Florida based candidate)
Responsibilities
- Foster and maintain relationships with staff members to provide support and guidance in their career and personal development.
- Advocate on behalf of the staff member while working within the policies, procedures, and core values of the studio.
- Conduct check-ins throughout the year to ensure the success of their career development, their well-being, and their relationship with the studio.
- Demonstrate personal agility in navigating complex situations and day-to-day challenges.
- Identify skills and track goals to help build and support career paths, and assess potential for mentorships or promotional opportunities.
- With leadership, create, administer, and deliver training programs that best fit the skills and abilities of the staff.
- Translate needs into training that helps develop employees and enhance productivity.
- Act as a catalyst by tracking the progress of staff-related concerns and maintaining accountability for the studio to ensure the requests have been met to the best of their ability.
- Build a partnership with all departments by maintaining an intimate knowledge of the departmental needs, responsibilities, resourcing, and individual players.
- Assist in performance management by collaborating with Department Leadership to conduct annual reviews, and obtain feedback, and skills assessments throughout the year.
- Collaborate with T&C and other departments by providing ideas to improve the functionality of internal infrastructures to ensure the successful development of processes.
- Contribute to team efforts and perform additional tasks to support department goals as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to problem solve and resolve conflict.
- Ability to handle difficult conversations and provide constructive feedback when necessary.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to establish priorities and delegate accordingly.
- An understanding of the needs and demands of a production-driven environment.
- Proven track of interpreting resourcing and training needs and delivering results.
- Experience with initiating and building strong working relationships within an organization.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Previous experience in Human Resource, Employee relations or management roles.
