Role Overview:
Our Partnership Coordinator will lead the development of strategic relationships and referral pipelines across Massachusetts. This individual will play a critical role in driving growth by sourcing and securing partnerships across a variety of industries and healthcare sectors. Reporting to the Partnership Development Manager and in collaboration with the Business Development Implementation Manager and key on-site team members across Stella’s Massachusetts locations, this role will be positioned to confidently hand off secured partners to dedicated team members who will foster and nurture the important relationships formed by you. This role will also focus on referral partnerships that allow for Stella to refer patients back to these partners, such as physicians, institutions, brands, medical companies and more that are not seen as treatment competitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, engage, and secure partnerships and referral sources with healthcare providers and adjacent industries (e.g., PCPs, OBGYNs, Chiropractors, Dentists).
- Build relationships with suppliers and vendors to encourage referral support and marketing support (J&J / Spravato, Brainsway, etc…)
- Explore innovative partnership opportunities beyond traditional mental health providers, targeting sectors that intersect with mental wellness.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand referral networks across Massachusetts, aligning with company growth plans and insurance-covered services.
- Create, build and manage relationships with referral sources across Massachusetts
- Design strategies to better support, engage and deepen relationships referral partners across different channels
- Attend, organize and coordinate local events, digital webinars, and so on, to cultivate new relationships and enhance brand visibility.
- Synthesize and share market feedback from partners, patients and stakeholders to collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and communication with partners.
- Track partnership performance and contribute to continuous improvement strategies.
- Coordinate outbound referrals to provide a seamless, concierge-level experience for clients while building trusted, long-term relationships with providers
Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years proven experience in business development, partnerships, sales or referral management within healthcare or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Comfortable with face-to-face outreach and networking.
- Confidence interacting with healthcare professionals of all kinds (doctors, therapists, etc)
- Experience organizing events or community engagement initiatives.
- Ability to think creatively to identify untapped referral sources and partnership opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- This is a remote role; however, you must live within driving distance of Brookline and Medford.
- Local travel is required; reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mental and behavioral health, psychiatry, or interventional medical services.
- Familiarity with the healthcare landscape in Massachusetts.
- Established network within the medical or wellness community.

The pay range for this role is:
55,000 - 70,000 USD per year (Boston)
