Today, Stellar Virtual spans across three states, Arizona, Indiana, and Texas, with new states introduced each year. |

Overview
As a Supervisor for Grade Levels 6-8, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the academic success, holistic development, and overall well-being of students and personnel within your designated grade levels. This multifaceted position requires a dynamic individual who possesses a deep understanding of child development, curriculum design, instructional strategies, and effective leadership skills
Essential Duties
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and curriculum specialists to develop, refine, and implement grade-level-specific curriculum that aligns with educational standards and objectives.
- Ensure that curriculum materials, resources, and instructional methods cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of students across different grade levels.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to teachers within your grade levels, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Lead regular grade-level team meetings to discuss instructional strategies, student progress, and interventions to address academic challenges.
- Model best practices in teaching and learning, including differentiated instruction, assessment for learning, and the integration of technology into the curriculum through professional development.
- Utilize assessment data to monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and develop targeted intervention plans to support struggling students.
- Analyze school-wide and grade-level assessment data to inform instructional decision-making, curriculum revisions, and professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and administer formative and summative assessments that accurately measure student mastery of learning objectives.
- Establish and maintain open lines of communication with families, providing regular updates on student progress, academic expectations, and school events.
- Organize grade-level parent meetings, workshops, and informational sessions to promote parental involvement in their child's education and support home-school partnerships.
- Serve as a liaison between the school and the broader community, fostering positive relationships and seeking opportunities for community partnerships and resources.
- Coordinate grade-level activities, events, and field trips, ensuring alignment with educational goals and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with administrators to develop and monitor grade-levels, allocate resources effectively, and manage procurement of instructional materials and supplies.
- Assist in the recruitment, selection, and evaluation of instructional staff within your grade levels, providing input into hiring decisions .
- Assure online classroom environments are conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
- Evaluate personnel performance based on proficiency through people analyzers.
- Conduct student and teacher observations
- Regulate and manage level two discipline pertaining to the students in the grade level accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and student handbook
- Up to 50% teaching responsibilities
- Attend ARDs as assigned
- Proctor in-person state test sites as needed
- Comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Previous leadership experience in a virtual academic setting.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for virtual interactions.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Proficiency in using virtual learning platforms and educational technology.
- Dedication to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Adaptability and the ability to excel in a remote work setting.
- A commitment to staying current with developments in education and pedagogy.
- Reliable internet connection and necessary technology for remote work.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Education or a relevant field.
- Valid teaching certification and a minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience.

This means the employee and Stellar Virtual can terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or notice, as legally permitted. 55,000 - 60,000 USD per year (Remote (Texas, US))
