Stellar Virtual was founded in 2019 with one school in Texas. We serve parents of K-12 students, unhappy with their current school, or needing an at-home/flexible learning environment. Today, Stellar Virtual has grown to six schools across three states: Texas, Arizona, and Indiana. Stellar Virtual is committed to going above and beyond for our virtual families.

Technology Aspect
Stellar Virtual is committed to ensuring our employees have the tools they need to succeed in a virtual work environment. To support your role effectively, we provide a company-issued laptop, equipped with the necessary software, security features, and internal support. This does not apply to Independent Contractors (1099), seasonal, or unpaid individuals.


All full-time and part-time employees will now receive computers for work purposes.

Employment with Stellar Virtual is on an at-will basis (only W2 employment types), meaning either the employee or the company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice, subject to applicable laws. Nothing in this job description should be construed as creating a guarantee of continued employment or a contract of employment for any specific duration. Position Overview
As an Assessment Coordinator with Arizona Virtual Tech Academy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of tests for our students across the State of Indiana. You will be responsible for coordinating test registration, proctoring testing events, preparing testing materials, and supervising test sites to maintain the integrity of the exams. Additionally, you will assist with test logistics, manage test supplies, and support students, faculty, and staff regarding testing-related inquiries.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate test registration, prepare testing materials, assign students to test locations, supervise test sites, and implement test security measures.
  • Facilitate accommodations for students with disabilities or special needs, review requests, arrange appropriate testing arrangements, and ensure compliance
  • Manage logistics, and coordinate test site personnel, equipment needs, and test supplies.
  • Serve as a main point of contact for testing-related inquiries and support, providing information and guidance to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Ensure adherence to test security protocols and compliance with testing regulations, training, and supervising personnel.
  • Manage accurate and timely reporting of test scores, updating records, and assisting with interpretation.
  • Assist students in accessing test preparation resources/services.
  • Participate in professional development activities and collaborate in after-action reviews to enhance testing processes and strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally to engage students and families to get students to testing sites 
  • Proctor in-person, on-site, and virtual assessments within the assigned testing region or area of responsibility as determined by the department manager. 
  • Produce "Subject Matter Expert" documentation and training on specific state or national tests.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills & Attributes 

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (during seasonal testing events);
  • Knowledgeable of state testing procedures and requirements;
  • Knowledgeable of district testing programs and software NWEA, Pearson Access, and Test Hound
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and families.
  • Excellent time-management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate multiple projects to meet specific deadlines;
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information;
  • Ability to maintain professional behavior, appearance, and work ethic.


Education & Certification Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. 
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred. Significant experience and proven ability in a related position or industry will substitute for a four-year degree.
