Stellar Virtual was founded in 2019 with one school in Texas. We serve parents of K-12 students, unhappy with their current school, or needing an at-home/flexible learning environment. Today, Stellar Virtual has grown to six schools across three states: Texas, Arizona, and Indiana. Stellar Virtual is committed to going above and beyond for our virtual families.

Technology Aspect
Stellar Virtual is committed to ensuring our employees have the tools they need to succeed in a virtual work environment. To support your role effectively, we provide a company-issued laptop, equipped with the necessary software, security features, and internal support. This does not apply to Independent Contractors (1099), seasonal, or unpaid individuals.

Employment with Stellar Virtual is on an at-will basis (only W2 employment types), meaning either the employee or the company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice, subject to applicable laws. Position Overview
The IT Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the IT department’s warehouse. This role involves handling, organizing, and tracking IT equipment and supplies, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with the distribution of hardware and materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management:
    • Receive, inspect, and record new shipments of IT equipment and supplies.
    • Organize and label items accurately to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
    • Perform regular inventory counts and update records to maintain accuracy.
    • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure all devices are functioning correctly before distribution.
  • Equipment Handling:
    • Safely move and handle IT equipment, ensuring minimal risk of damage.
    • Prepare equipment for distribution, including setup and packaging.
    • Assist in the deployment and retrieval of IT assets from various departments.
    • Prepare laptops for deployment, including unboxing, initial hardware inspections, and installation of required software and operating systems.
    • Configure devices according to company standards, ensuring security settings and user profiles are properly established.
  • Data Entry and Documentation:
    • Update and maintain warehouse databases with current inventory levels.
    • Document the check-in and check-out process for equipment.
    • Assist with generating reports related to inventory and asset distribution.
  • Warehouse Maintenance:
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
    • Ensure that equipment is stored in accordance with safety standards.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Work closely with IT technicians and support staff to fulfill equipment requests.
    • Assist with troubleshooting and preparing equipment for end-users as needed.


Knowledge, Skills & Attributes 

  • Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory management role, preferably in IT.
  • Basic knowledge of IT equipment and technology (e.g., computers, servers, peripherals).
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.


Education & Certification Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. 
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar industry or role.

The pay range for this role is:

40,000 - 50,000 USD per year (IT Warehouse)
