Reagent Manufacturing Technician

Role Description

We are seeking a Reagent Manufacturing Technician to support reagent production and inventory and materials handling.  This role plays a key role in supporting reagent production for our spatial biology platforms. This hands‑on role is responsible for executing manufacturing processes—including formulation, filling, labeling, and packaging—while maintaining strict adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.  The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Reagent Production

·       Prepare and formulate reagents per batch records and SOPs.

·       Operate equipment for mixing, filling, capping, and labeling.

·       Perform in-process checks and record data accurately.

Documentation and Compliance

·       Complete batch records and log books per GMP and ISO 13485 standards.

·       Report deviations promptly.

Inventory and Materials Handling

·       Manage raw materials and consumables (weighing, dispensing, and tracking)

·       Support inventory control and restocking

Automation & Equipment

·       Clean and maintain production equipment and workspaces.

·       Assist with calibration and preventative maintenance.

Quality & Safety

·       Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean environment.

·       Collaborate with QA/QC for inspections and audits.

Qualifications

·      Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.

·       1–3 years of experience in reagent, consumable, or chemical manufacturing (life sciences or diagnostics preferred).

·       Familiarity with GMP, ISO 13485, and cleanroom practices.

·       Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records.

·       Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

·       Buffer preparation, enzyme handling, or antibody-based reagents.

·       Startup or fast-paced manufacturing environment experience.

·       Familiarity with LIMS, ERP, or digital manufacturing tools.

Compensation

An attractive compensation and benefits package based on market pay data will be commensurate with candidate skills, qualifications, and experience. Range for this position: $45 – 65k.
