Position Description

As the Secondary Office Assistant, you will serve as a welcoming and professional representative of STEM School Highlands Ranch, supporting our mission and values in every interaction. You will collaborate with the Health Assistant and other team members  to ensure the needs of students, families, staff, and the community are met efficiently and with care.


Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk & Stakeholder Support

  • Greet all students, families, and guests politely.
  • Answer phone calls in a pleasant, informed, and helpful manner.
  • Serve as a liaison between teachers, administration, and parents.
  • Receive and distribute incoming materials and resources.

Administrative & Clerical Duties

  • Process purchase orders, supplies, and inventory.
  • Assist administration with tracking student attendance and truancy.
  • Schedule appointments for building directors.
  • Provide clerical support to building directors.

Health Support

  • Provide care for acute health needs, including emergencies.
  • Administer first aid per district guidelines (e.g., head injuries, fractures, lacerations).
  • Notify the school nurse of reportable communicable diseases.
  • Assist the Health Assistant with student wellness needs.

Other Duties

  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support school operations.

Qualifications Required:

  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professional conduct.
  • Proficient with Google Suite.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • 1 year of customer service experience.

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • School Year: 2025 - 2026

The pay range for this role is:

17.80 - 27.45 USD per hour (Main)
