Administrative Coordinator (Production Team)
Full-Time, Remote // Hourly, Non-Exempt
Steno is growing and our Production Team is looking for an Administrative Coordinator (AKA Production Assistant) to join our Winning Team!
Who are you?
Our Production Assistants are highly organized and thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment–we know you’ve heard this before, but we’re not kidding. We’re growing–fast–so we’re looking for folks who are excited to match pace and help keep us moving on our current path. If you are ready to hit the ground running and want to have a direct impact on the services we provide to our clients, then this role is for you!
You will be instrumental in supporting the Production Team, ensuring our team is able to function in a timely and efficient way. Operating with a hospitality mindset, often under pressure, is critical to ensuring our internal and external clients are able to operate at full capacity.
On a regular basis, you will
Correspond with court reporters and clients to complete post-deposition tasks
Manage files in preparation for the transcript production process
Perform data entry across multiple platforms (attention to detail is a must!)
Carefully handle and manage exhibits for cases–we expect the utmost discretion when it comes to handling sensitive information for our clients
Develop and collaborate on ideas that help improve the efficiency and workflow of the Production Team
Assist the Production Team in additional daily tasks as needed
You’re gonna crush it if
You’ve got 1+ years of administrative or similar experience; prior court reporting or legal experience is a huge plus!
You’re highly organized with excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills–we’re a digital and dispersed team always working to keep each other informed.
You offer high quality and hospitable customer service–we love people and we hope you do too.
You’re enthusiastic about the opportunity for growth within the company and working for a start-up.
You are comfortable with and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment where you’ll need to learn new skills and systems quickly.
You are proficient on both Mac and PC; Google Drive experience is a plus (bonus points for experience with a Wiki platform!).
Compensation & Benefits
Salary - $20-$22/hr
Health, Vision, & Dental Benefits – generous company-sponsored health plans for both employees and dependents, including comprehensive vision & dental
Wellness/Mental Health – shared benefits to be used among employees and families
Flexible Paid Time Off – allowing employees to find balance in their lives
Options of Equity – we know our success is nothing without our team
And more! – a home office setup, and a monthly stipend to cover internet/phone
Our Team
Our Production team is a highly reliable and super motivated team. A diverse group working throughout the country, we’re responsible for review of our most sensitive and VIP depositions.
We are tech-savvy perfectionists and collaborative team players. Not only do we work under tight deadlines, but we are also constantly evaluating and reevaluating our own processes to make them more efficient than they were the day before!
If a fast paced environment that keeps you on your toes is not for you, then the Production team is probably not the right fit. But if you don’t shy away from a little chaos and you are a natural troubleshooter with great attention to detail, then you may just find the home you are looking for here.
