Software Engineer (Full-stack)

Steno has been experiencing very high growth and market adoption since release in early 2019, and we are now ready to bring on additional engineering talent to help us meet the demands of scaling our product to meet our customers’ needs.

You’re gonna crush it if: 

• You love solving problems and collaborating with others to solve those problems

• You seek clarity, and as much simplicity as the underlying problem domain will allow

• You are well organized, able to manage time effectively

• You are not easily flustered if someone takes a different approach to solving the same problem

• You've worked with modern front-end or back-end frameworks

• You are familiar with unit and integration testing

Some requirements: 

• You possess the ability to develop software hands-on, applying your skills, knowledge and previous experiences

• You can implement well-designed technical solutions.

• You have experience with git, a high-level programming language (JavaScript/Typescript, Python, Java, etc), and a SQL database - we use Node.js with Typescript, React.js front-end, and PostgreSQL

• Understanding of web app fundamentals at a basic level

• Ability to support our business operations by troubleshooting and triaging reported issues effectively and handing off as necessary

• Have either a BS in Computer Science and 1 year experience or 2 - 3 years total experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary - $116,000 - $165,000
