Who are you? 

We’re looking for a self-starter who is effective in managing their time in remote working environments. If you love solving problems and collaborating with others to solve those problems then this role is for you! 

This is a fast-paced environment, but an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to join a growing tech team at a mid-stage start-up and have a direct impact on building and enhancing our products!

On a regular basis, you’ll be:

  • Perform manual testing for software functionality

  • Using a variety of tools to discover and root cause issues, including database queries with SQL, browser dev tools, and web request tools (e.g. Postman)

  • Using our test case management tool to create test plans, log test runs, and track bugs

  • Helping to maintain automated tests across our full product suite

  • Investigating product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction

  • Helping to identify quality assurance process bottlenecks, at times suggesting (and implementing) actions for improvement


You’re gonna crush it if:

  • You have 3+ years of QA experience

  • You’ve got experience with a variety of different testing techniques - both manual and automated - and when to apply those different techniques 

  • You've become familiar with the downsides of both under-engineering and over-engineering, and developed an appreciation for working pragmatically

  • You have at least some experience with git and a high-level programming language, such as JavaScript, Python, etc., for the purposes of writing automated tests. (we use TypeScript with Node.js, Selenium, and Jest)

  • You realize the real project work happens when the last 20% is being completed - the handling of edge cases, errors, and interesting scenarios is where the real magic happens

Our Tech Team is a small, highly reliable, constantly innovative team. It is composed of Engineering, QA, Design, and Product. Instead of being siloed, Eng and QA work hand-in-hand with Product and Design for execution of new ideas and solutions.


Our team is also humble and each individual recognizes that no individual or system is perfect; we see mistakes being made as an opportunity for improvement!

Our Eng team includes people from all levels of seniority and with a variety of backgrounds, from Fortune 500 to startups to FinTech to bootcamps. Our QA team is small but mighty and needs you!
