We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist 1 to join our IT Support team!


Who are you? 

In this role, you’ll support Steno’s daily operations as a go-to support specialist for 3rd party software troubleshooting cases. You’ll excel if you love problem solving, working closely and collaboratively with a small team, and helping others succeed.

On a regular basis you will 

  • Provide Slack, phone call, and on-camera technical, video, and audio support to our internal employees to help resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

  • Work with third-party vendors and with your IT Specialist colleagues for rapid and accurate technical issue resolution.

  • Document support cases and project progress clearly to effectively record support trends and for team collaboration as needed.

  • Quickly learn multiple online platforms and keep up to date with current procedures. You’ll often deal with ambiguity, so adaptability is key! 

  • Apply your experience with automating installations or procedures using Powershell, Bash, Python or other programming languages to help optimize workflow.

  • Provide exceptional and hospitable customer service to our internal employees while troubleshooting and resolving support issues. 

  • Research, test, and present innovative technology solutions as needed. 


You’re gonna crush it if


  • You have 2+ of Technical Support experience.

  • You have 2+ years of Customer Service experience.

  • You have experience in powershell and bash scripting and creating automations

  • You can coordinate many moving parts comfortably in a high-stress environment.

  • You are comfortable using multiple technologies and can quickly pick up new skills.

  • You are highly attentive, detail-oriented, and organized.

  • You have a valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation for periodic new hire and repair replacement laptop shipment via FedEx.
