• Own client relationships – You're the face of Steno's billing operation: the primary point of contact for clients and providers, trusted to handle sensitive requests with professionalism, urgency, and follow-through that actually closes the loop.

You’ll crush this role if you bring 1+ years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail are essential - start-up experience is preferred. The billing team is in active growth mode, meaning new challenges create new opportunities - and the Billing Manager is personally invested in helping you grow through them. You'll work across invoicing, client communication, and cross-functional coordination from the start, building a well-rounded operational skillset. Autonomy comes early here: you'll make real judgment calls, own client relationships, and fix process gaps without getting queued behind approvals. And you'll do it alongside a team that communicates, covers for each other, and will have you fully up to speed before you even know it. You will be required to work Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM PT or M-F 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. ET, with the expectation of working one Saturday a month.
