In this role, you will serve as both a data detective and strategic project leader, playing a dual role that drives operational excellence through insights and execution. You will work closely with the Director of Strategic Operations to not only uncover valuable data insights but also lead cross-functional projects that transform those insights into actionable business improvements.

On a regular basis you will 

  • Spend significant time immersed in data, uncovering insights that drive strategic decisions and proactively investigating operational trends
  • Own insights generation and follow-up across the organization, ensuring data translates into action
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that tell meaningful stories about operational performance
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses that answer critical business questions and reveal optimization opportunities
  • Use data to tell compelling stories that non-technical colleagues can understand and act upon
  • Lead and manage complex operational projects from conception through completion
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that span multiple departments and stakeholders
  • Develop project timelines, track deliverables, and ensure accountability across teams
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and strategic planning sessions
  • Transform analytical findings into structured improvement projects with clear outcomes
  • Manage operational process improvements and implementation of new workflows
  • Serve as a strategic partner to operations leadership, extending their capacity to drive multiple initiatives
  • Present findings and project updates confidently to stakeholders at all levels
  • Anticipate business needs by staying ahead with both analytical insights and proactive project planning
  • Become the go-to person for both data questions and operational project execution
  • Bridge the gap between data insights and practical business implementation

You’re gonna crush it if

  • You have 3-5 years of experience combining analytics and project management, preferably at a high-growth startup, banking, or consulting environment
  • You have advanced proficiency in data manipulation and visualization using tools such as Excel, Looker, and Tableau
  • You are proficient in SQL and familiar with modern BI tools such as Looker
  • You have proven project management experience with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple stakeholders
  • You have strong organizational skills with experience managing competing priorities and complex timelines
  • You have Inherent curiosity and analytical follow-through - you can't help but ask "why?" and love using data and logic to explore solutions
  • You have excellent communication skills with ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • You have a self-starter mentality with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and identify opportunities with limited oversight
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environments with comfort in ambiguity and rapid change

Bonus points for 

  • You have experience with Snowflake
  • You have familiarity with modern data stack technologies such as dbt and Fivetran
  • You have knowledge of the legal tech industry or professional services
  • You have experience with Python or R for data analysis
  • You have an understanding of machine learning concepts and applications
  • You have experience working with operational teams in complex service-based businesses

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary - $90,000- $120,000
