About the role

The Client Service Administrator (CSA) plays a crucial role on the Client Services Team at Sterling Brokers. The Client Services Team is responsible for client satisfaction and retention, by providing high quality support and account management. The CSA plays a key role in supporting the Client Support Specialists by providing daily support for resolving plan member and plan administrator queries. This role requires attention to detail, experience in Excel and other online platforms, and can work successfully on a team. The role will report into the Team Lead of Client Services and will work side-by-side with our experienced team of representatives.


This role is fully remote (part-time), and we are seeking candidates who are excited about remote work and make efforts to build relationships with their team remotely.



What you'll do

Sterling is a rapidly growing and evolving business, but you can expect your day to involve the following projects and initiatives:

  • Maintaining plan member information in a wide variety of online platforms inclusive of our internal system, SCBConnect, and a variety of different carrier systems.
  • Supporting the benefit administrators and account managers in providing timely resolution to client issues
  • Preparing and comparing census documents in Excel
  • Producing policy documents (i.e. booklets, summaries)
  • Support audits
  • Attending client service team huddles and training sessions
  • Attending carrier training sessions
  • Developing a deep understanding of the Group Benefits industry
  • Supporting claims escalations for our clients


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in the Group Benefits Industry (e.g. working with an insurance carrier, Third Party Administrator, in Human Resources, etc)
  • 2+ years’ experience in Account Management, Client Services, or Customer Success
  • LLQP, GBA or CEBs designations are an asset
  • Passionate about remote work and building relationships virtually
  • Experience with MS Office Suite is required (particularly Excel)
  • Comfort with a wide range of web applications (e.g. Salesforce, Zendesk, Monday.com)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to hit deadlines as required
  • Prefer fast-paced environments with the ability to learn and grow
  • French Bilingual fluency is an asset
