Job Summary
The Studio Museum in Harlem is seeking a strategic, creative and entrepreneurial Senior Communications and Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of integrated communications and marketing strategies that elevate the Museum’s visibility, strengthen its brand, and deepen engagement with diverse audiences. This role oversees digital marketing, content development, and campaign management to support exhibitions, programs, fundraising initiatives, and institutional priorities.
The ideal candidate is equally creative and analytical and understands the power of storytelling in the arts. They bring traditional and digital marketing skills that will translate into impact for the Studio Museum, for the art world, and for the broader cultural field. This critical thinker will identify opportunities to align paid, earned, and owned media opportunities with the mission, vision, and values of the Studio Museum. They are excellent at developing consistent, effective, and cohesive messaging that articulates a compelling story to elevate the brand across the broader community as well as with specific target audiences.

Compensation
$80,000 - $90,000 annually
Salary is commensurate with experience within the guidelines of a small not-for-profit. A competitive benefits package is provided, including medical, dental, life and long-term disability insurance, a retirement account, and substantial vacation time.
