As the largest pier and lift dealer in Wisconsin, Summerset offers a comprehensive range of services to meet the unique needs of lakefront property owners. We specialize in designing, installing, and supporting custom pier and boat lift systems.  


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of pier and boat lift installations. This role is hands-on, requiring expertise in job site management, surveying, scheduling, and leading construction projects to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Surveying & Planning: Conduct pre-construction site surveys, assess conditions, and develop accurate project scopes.
  • Project Scheduling: Create and manage project schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion.
  • Job Site Leadership: Supervise crews on-site, provide direction, and ensure all work aligns with Summerset Marine’s quality and safety standards.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary contact for clients, keeping them informed on project status and addressing concerns.
  • Resource & Equipment Coordination: Manage materials, equipment, and personnel to optimize workflow and minimize delays.
  • Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Proactively address challenges, implement solutions, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Quality Control & Safety Compliance: Conduct site inspections to uphold safety standards and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.
  • Post-Project Support: Provide guidance on maintenance and service needs after project completion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in construction project management, with job site leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of marine and waterfront construction practices.
  • Proficiency in surveying techniques, scheduling software, and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
