Job Description:
As a Construction Laborer at Summerset Marine, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to the installation, removal, and manufacturing of high-quality piers. This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors on lakes and potentially on ice during the winter months. There is room for growth, and motivated individuals can progress into lead positions, such as foreman on our crews.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Pier Installation and Removal: Actively participate in the installation and removal of piers, working in both outdoor lake environments and manufacturing facilities.
  • Manufacturing Assistance: Contribute to the manufacturing process of high-end, custom-made piers, ensuring quality and precision.
  • Outdoor Work: Perform tasks mainly outdoors and on the water, adapting to varying weather conditions.
  • Training for Leadership Roles: For those interested in advancing their careers, opportunities to learn and grow into lead positions, such as foreman, are available.
  • Physical Requirements: The ability to lift a minimum of 100 pounds is essential for this role. The position may involve strenuous physical activity.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Background Check: Successfully pass a background check as part of the employment screening process.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license, as there may be a need to transport materials or equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Physical strength and ability to lift at least 100 pounds.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to adapt to water and ice work environments.
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Successful completion of a background check and MVR.
  • Experience hauling trailers.
