Key Responsibilities:

  • Product design improvements, prototyping, and customization efforts for large-scale end users, focusing on streamlining design and components for enhanced production efficiency.
  • Analyze information to assess feasibility and design proposals that align with end-user requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Manage a dynamic project portfolio, including updating and simplifying legacy designs, while ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Drive project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and communication with various departments such as Industrial Engineers, Production Engineers, Finance, and Sales.
  • Engineers to gather design criteria, innovate, and optimize product performance and manufacturability.
  • Oversee or assist in testing, validation, fabrication of fixtures and prototypes, and preparation of test reports to ensure product integrity and compliance with industry standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing/operations, with a focus on product development and project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential for design and modeling tasks.
  • Strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with expertise in manufacturing processes such as hydraulics, electrical systems, and working with aluminum and steel materials.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of driving innovation, process improvement, and successful project execution in a fast-paced environment.
