Sundays for Dogs

Executive Assistant

About your team and position:

  • The People Team at Sundays is a small but mighty group made up of our VP of People and our People & Talent Associate. We care deeply about the people behind the work and take pride in being a lean, hands-on team that values efficiency, trust, and showing up for one another. We’re resourceful by nature, building thoughtful, scalable solutions and stepping in wherever we’re needed to keep things moving forward. Our team owns the employee experience end to end—from hiring and onboarding to performance, culture, and workplace experience—and plays an important role in ensuring Sundays remains a place where people feel supported, connected, and set up to do their best work.
  • We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support our CEO, while also helping shape the day-to-day office and workplace experience as Sundays continues to scale. This role partners closely with the CEO, reports into the People Team, and works cross-functionally with leaders across the business to keep priorities moving forward. You will own core executive support responsibilities—including calendar management, project coordination, and drafting communications on behalf of the CEO—while also supporting key initiatives tied to our future Cleveland-based office presence. While our permanent office space is still being built and expected to open in 2026, you will play an important role in planning for that transition and helping bring our in-person workplace experience to life. Your work will directly impact how effectively our CEO operates, how teams stay aligned, and how our workplace evolves as the company grows, with a clear opportunity for this role to develop into an Office Manager / Workplace Experience position over time.
  • This position reports directly to  our VP of People, and provides dedicated executive support to our CEO. This role does not have direct reports and is highly cross-functional, requiring close collaboration with the People Team and leaders across the organization to support executive priorities, communication, and day-to-day operations.

Your day-to-day:

  • Manage complex calendar scheduling and prioritization for the CEO, ensuring time is aligned with key business priorities
  • Support CEO-led projects by tracking details, coordinating timelines, and driving follow-through
  • Draft, edit, and manage internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO with professionalism and discretion
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and follow-ups to support effective decision-making
  • Act as a trusted point of coordination across teams, helping information flow smoothly
  • Support hybrid office operations, including in-office coordination and onsite logistics in Cleveland
  • Partner with the People Team to create a welcoming, organized, and efficient workplace experience
  • Play a hands-on role in planning and executing the move into our future Cleveland office space
  • Manage office vendors, supplies, and ongoing workplace needs as the role evolves
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and administrative support as needed

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience supporting a C-suite executive in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting communications on behalf of senior leaders
  • A strong familiarity with Google Suites
  • A high level of discretion, sound judgment, and proven ability to handle confidential information
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with interest in supporting office operations and evolving workplace experiences
  • A passion for dogs!

The Brand

Sundays for Dogs is a founder-led, direct-to-consumer brand reimagining pet food so dog owners can spend more quality time with their dogs — now and later. We make human-grade, air-dried food that supports long, healthy lives, and we build our company around shared core values that guide how we work and how we treat each other.

We’re headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, with a primarily remote team of 50 full-time employees across the U.S. While we work distributed day to day, we come together in person on a quarterly basis because relationships matter. Our business today is 100% DTC, with our subscription model at the core of how we serve customers — and we’re building to scale with intention. We’re just getting started...
