Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mid-Level CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong understanding of CNC machinery, capable of independently setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts. We are mostly a short run shop with 80% of our runs being less than 30 pieces which equates to multiple set ups a day.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical data to set up and operate CNC machines.

·        Perform machine setup, calibration, and tool changes efficiently.

·        Ability to perform multiple set ups a day.

·        Conduct quality checks on machined parts using precision measurement tools.

·        Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation and tooling.

·        Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety protocols.

·        Document production activities, machine settings, and inspection results.

·        Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiencies.

Requirements:

·        3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines.

·        Ability to run manual machines is a plus.

·        Proficiency with CNC programming languages such as G-code and conversational programming.

·        Strong understanding of materials, tooling, and machining processes.

·        Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

·        Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.

·        Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

·        Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Knowledge of CNC machine tools such as mills, lathes, and saws.

·        Certification in CNC machining or related fields.
