We’re looking for an Associate Strategy Director to lead one of our largest global tech clients — a brand shaping how people connect, create, and communicate. Our existing partnership is primarily strategic: uncovering audience, behavioral, and cultural insights that guide how the brand shows up across platforms and translating those into client-ready deliverables that guide their internal and external marketing & creative decision making. This role will be responsible for leading that work while also working closely with account and creative leadership to grow and scale our partnership.

WHAT YOU’LL DO


  • Lead Insight & Strategy Development: Oversee the creation of audience, behavioral, and cultural insights that inform content, channel, and communications strategy for five key brands under a major tech portfolio.
  • Client Leadership: Act as the senior strategic lead and main client point of contact. Build credibility and trust with senior stakeholders through sharp thinking, clear storytelling, and a deep understanding of business and brand goals.
  • Integrated Planning: Translate research and insights into actionable strategies that connect creative, comms, and media — ensuring that ideas are rooted in data but brought to life through culture and creativity
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a cross-disciplinary team of strategists, researchers, and analysts. Elevate the strategic craft, ensure clarity of roles, and foster a culture of curiosity and collaboration.
  • Thought Leadership: Proactively identify cultural opportunities, emerging behaviors, and platform trends that can shape our client’s future work — from brand storytelling to social innovation.
  • Growth & Opportunity: Partner with account and leadership teams to identify and shape new opportunities within the business. Build frameworks and strategic POVs that unlock growth across new social and integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Research & Measurement Rigor: Define methodologies, guide tool usage (GWI, Sprinklr, Tubular, etc.), and ensure insights are backed by data, not just intuition. Partner with analytics to track impact and evolve how success is measured.
  • Cross-Agency Collaboration: Collaborate with partner agencies to align on insights and strategy, ensuring our client’s marketing ecosystem is connected and cohesive.


ABOUT YOU


  • 7+ years of experience in brand, comms, or social strategy — ideally within creative or integrated marketing agencies.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, global clients and presenting directly to senior executives.
  • Equally strong in insight synthesis and integrated planning — you can dive into the data and zoom out to see the brand and business picture.
  • Expert in audience and cultural insight tools (GWI, Sprinklr, Tubular, Brandwatch, etc.) and fluent in how to translate data into creative inspiration.
  • Confident communicator and relationship-builder who can guide a room with clarity and empathy.
  • Deep understanding of digital platforms and content ecosystems — how ideas move, why people share, and where brands can authentically participate.
  • Natural collaborator who thrives in cross-functional teams spanning analytics, creative, and account disciplines.
  • A curious, culturally tuned-in thinker who connects human truths, data, and creativity seamlessly.
