Production Leadership: Lead and inspire production teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Set clear goals, provide guidance and support to team members, and ensure effective communication across all levels.
Talent Strategy & Mentoring: Work with the People team to establish and implement a talent strategy, including job architecture, competency definition, and support across the hiring and mentoring efforts.
Project Management: Develop and implement effective project management strategies, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure the successful delivery of game development projects within defined parameters.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to define and execute the studio's production strategies and goals. Contribute to decision-making processes regarding game concepts, development pipelines, and resource allocation.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of quality throughout the game development lifecycle. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of games and experiences without compromising quality.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in game development projects and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Regularly assess project risks and provide timely updates and recommendations to senior management.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including clients, and internal teams in what is related to production. Foster strong working relationships, ensure effective collaboration, and maintain alignment throughout the production process.
Learning and Development - You’ll develop a strategy to improve for Supersocial's production team. You'll lead the effort to provide learning and development programs and courses to producers at all levels and across the entire department.
Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production workflows, optimize efficiency, and improve productivity. Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements, recommending and implementing relevant tools and methodologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must Have
7+ years of experience working in a leadership role through the different stages of the game product life cycle (e.g. prototype, pre-production, production, launch, and live operations (where applicable)
8+ years working in a senior game production leadership role, responsible for organizational leadership, mentoring production leaders, and setting department-level strategy and goals
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
In-depth understanding of game development processes, including pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Nice to Have
Experience with Roblox
Familiarity with game engines, development platforms, and industry-standard software.
