Tire Technician Lead

About the role

The Production Tire Lead is responsible for overseeing all activity within the production/tire department.  They ensure shop safety guidelines are followed, paperwork is completed and maintain shop inventory, product, tools and equipment.

What you'll do

  • Supervise daily tire production
  • Oversee mounting, labeling, and staging
  • Train and support team members
  • Ensure product quality and safety
  • Maintain documentation and logs
  • Report on equipment issues and delays
  • Follow safety procedures
  • Ability to mount, balance, install tires and wheels

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years in tire/automotive production
  • 1+ year in a lead role preferred
  • Knowledge of mounting, balancing, and tools/machines
  • Able to lift 75 lbs
  • Operate equipment (IE: sit-down forklift, stand-up Forklift, Cherry Picker, Deep Reach Truck)
  • Forklift certification preferred

Physical Demands:

Standing, Walking, Reaching/Bending, Endurance, Balancing/Mobility, Manual Dexterity, Exposure to varying conditions, Repetitive Motion, Lifting to 50 lbs. consistently, safety equipment, loud noises: 8-hour work shift
