About the role

The Shipping Associate-FL Certified at Southwest Accessory Group is responsible for accurate and efficient picking, labeling, staging, and loading of outbound shipments on forklift equipment.

What you'll do

  • Pick, label, and stage orders
  • Scan and verify details
  • Load trailers
  • Apply labels and route documents
  • Communicate discrepancies
  • Follow SOPs and safety guidelines
  • Perform final inspection
  • Support documentation as needed
  • Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
  • Report on all equipment and/or safety concerns

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior warehouse experience a plus
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. consistently
  • Basic computer/RF scanner knowledge
  • Ability to read numerals and English
  • NetSuite experience a bonus
  • Operate equipment (IE: sit-down forklift, stand-up Forklift, Cherry Picker, Deep Reach Truck)
  •   Forklift certification preferred

·        Physical Demands:

Standing, Walking, Reaching/Bending, Endurance, Balancing/Mobility, Manual Dexterity, Exposure to varying conditions, Repetitive Motion, Lifting to 50 lbs. consistently, safety equipment, loud noises: 8-hour work shift
