About the role
This position will support the operations and product management for the quality improvement and population health team at T1D Exchange. As a member of the T1D Exchange team, you will join an innovative group of experts using big data and quality improvement methods to advance diabetes care. What you'll do
Lead and facilitate special projects for the department
- Provide content expertise on design and implementation methods in type 1 and type 2 diabetes project.
- Manage and lead special projects, funded by industry partners, that align with T1DX-QI and T2DX-QI goals and objectives.
Promote data quality tracking and initiatives
- Monitor data completeness and quality for type 1 and type 2 databases.
- Lead internal stakeholders’ effort to improve data robustness.
- Coordinate data automation efforts.
- Support sponsored projects
- Prepare project reports and implementation summaries.
- Resolve conflicts related to project requirements, scope, and timelines.
- Manage execution of assigned industry sponsored projects.
- Assist in the preparation of a manuscript or abstract for presentation at scientific conferences.
- Support business development and grant applications
- Provide QI content and project structure, in coordination with the Associate Director of Grants & Partnerships
- Other duties as assigned.
Serve as Product Management lead for the department
- Define and own the benchmarking QI Portal product roadmap and vision.
- Evaluate and prioritize product issues and enhancement requests.
- Predict and identify barriers to project implementation, develop strategies to address them, and support completion.
- Provide staff support for meetings, committees, special projects, and conferences.
- Establish strong working relationships with the teams to improve performance.
- Co-lead/manage different assigned committees.
- Directly supervise assigned team members.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in public health, business or related field with a minimum of five years’ full-time management experience.
- At least 2 years prior experience with real world data databases.
- Self-motivated and demonstrate excellent judgment in problem-solving when developing daily work priorities. This person needs to have creativity as a problem solver.
- Must have effective communication skills, relate positively with the community, and communicate with utmost tact and diplomacy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools/ software.
- Familiar with the operational flow of Data Management, Statistics, coordinating the project team, keeping collaborative and team informed of progress.
- Above all, the candidate must continuously improve and contribute to the team's overall objectives.

The pay range for this role is:
110,000 - 130,000 USD per year (Remote)
