About the role

Terms: Full-time

Location: Remote, within the LAC region - all locations in this region will be considered.


The Recruitment Assistant will support the Global Talent Programs recruitment team with candidate sourcing, intake, and case management in the LAC region. The role requires fluency in both Spanish and English, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. It is a candidate-facing role, ensuring clear, supportive, and professional communication while helping to match skilled refugees and displaced individuals with international employment opportunities.


What you'll do

Candidate Recruitment and Case Management:

  • Review new candidate registrations in the Talent Catalog, verifying information and scheduling introductory interviews.
  • Shortlist suitable candidates for international employment opportunities, ensuring alignment with program eligibility criteria.
  • Support candidates in preparing resumes, applications, and interviews.
  • Provide accurate intake notes, assessments, and maintain updated candidate records.
  • Assist with document collection, translation, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Communicate directly with candidates in Spanish and English, ensuring clear, supportive, and professional engagement.
  • Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure smooth referral processes and coordinated support for candidates.
  • Suggest creative solutions to address barriers preventing refugee access to skilled migration.

Administration and Reporting:

  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on recruitment outcomes and contribute to TBB’s global learning and evaluation initiatives.
  • Participate in training, team meetings, and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Support process improvements and efficiencies within the recruitment function, especially in the LAC context.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Global Talent Programs Recruitment Manager.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Fluency in both spoken and written Spanish and English.
  • Based in, or strong familiarity with, the Latin America & Caribbean region.
  • Relevant work experience (e.g., recruitment, case management)
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Cultural awareness, sensitivity, and enthusiasm for working with displaced populations and across global teams.
  • High level of initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Computer literacy and comfort with online collaborative tools (e.g. Google Suite, Slack, etc.).

Desirable:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with displaced populations or marginalized communities.
  • Lived experience of forced migration and/or displacement.
  • Experience working across time zones in remote-first environments.
