About the Position
Full-Time, Salary Exempt
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary QA specialist, taking full ownership of the quality assurance function and driving the implementation of testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and experience in testing SaaS (Software as a Service) web and mobile applications and be able to build new QA processes for our company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, identify defects, investigate L3 customer support issues and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities associated with this role are:
- Development: Promotes and adopts consistent testing standards, tools, and processes. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of our products/services.
- Testing: Perform manual and automated testing of software applications, identifying and documenting defects with clear steps for reproduction.
- Technical Support: Conduct Level 3 technical customer support, researching and investigating issues that may be needed for support tickets.
- Improve Efficiency: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to validate software changes and updates.
- Assurance: Collaborate with developers to facilitate the resolution of identified issues and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and testing methodologies.
Skills & Qualifications
The key skills associated with this role are:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Proficiency: Experience and interest in quality assurance/testing roles, with a focus on manual and automated testing. Requires working knowledge of databases and proficiency writing SQL queries. Html, CSS, and JavaScript a plus.
- Experience: 4+ years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role. Experience using tools such as Postman for Web API and application testing. Experience with Android, iOS mobile application testing. Experience with responsive web site testing.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and requests simultaneously while prioritizing company needs.
- Detail Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to meticulously document defects.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Team Oriented: Ability to gain the cooperation of others in the pursuit of company goals.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic with proven track record of dependability and consistency.

The pay range for this role is:
70,000 - 110,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
