Senior Account Executive (NA Pro Performance) - Remote

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Account Executive to drive growth and expansion within North American professional sports, with a specific focus on our Performance category solutions. You'll be the strategic voice for Teamworks in the elite sports performance space, building relationships with professional teams and organizations while positioning our cutting-edge technology solutions that transform how athletes train, perform, and recover. This role combines deep sports performance expertise with sophisticated sales acumen to drive revenue growth in one of the most competitive and exciting markets in sports tech.

Game Plan - How You'll Drive Impact:

  • Position Teamworks for continued growth in the North American professional athletics space, contributing to company strategy based on deep knowledge of the performance sector and emerging market opportunities
  • Generate new sales opportunities and cultivate long-term strategic partnerships through targeted networking and relationship building within the sports performance ecosystem
  • Lead the complete sales process for our Performance category products, including Teamworks AMS, Strength & Conditioning, Nutrition, and Intelligence solutions, from initial discovery through product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution
  • Build deep, consultative relationships with clients, understanding how Teamworks AMS, Strength and Conditioning, and Nutrition can add measurable value to their operations, and collaborate strategically to help them achieve performance goals
  • Partner with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless client experiences and provide market feedback that drives product innovation

Player Profile - What You Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor's degree with extensive experience working in professional athletics within Exercise Science, Strength and Conditioning, Nutrition, Athletic Training, or related performance disciplines
  • Deep understanding of professional athletics operations, performance optimization challenges, and the technology landscape that supports elite athlete development
  • Natural ability to build trust and credibility with coaches, performance staff, executives, and decision-makers at professional sports organizations
  • Capability to understand complex organizational needs and translate them into comprehensive technology solutions that drive measurable outcomes

The Ideal Recruit - Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with sports performance software platforms, preferably including familiarity with Teamworks AMS, Nutrition, or similar athlete monitoring and nutrition management systems
  • Established relationships and reputation within professional athletics, particularly with strength and conditioning coaches, sports scientists, dietitians, and athletic trainers
  • Proven track record in complex B2B sales environments, ideally within SaaS or technology solutions, with demonstrated ability to navigate long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision processes
  • Experience managing enterprise-level sales processes, including multi-product solutions, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management across diverse professional sports organizations
  • Ability to leverage performance data and analytics to demonstrate ROI and value propositions that resonate with performance-focused decision makers
  • Deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in sports performance management

Compensation Philosophy:

For this role, the salary range is $100,000-150,000, with your final offer determined by your experience, skills, and interview performance. Every Teamworks teammate is an owner, with equity aligning your success with ours.
